Let me introduce myself.

In a world inundated with information and expert opinions, remember this journey is yours. Mindfulness for Life teaches to trust inherent wisdom and make choices that reflect your true self. You know what’s best for you.
Life handed me some terrible moments.
- I understand the overwhelm and stress of building a career.
2. I lived the uncertainty and fear of a cancer diagnosis.
3. I felt the heartbreak of fertility struggles and infant loss.
4. I empathize with the struggle of anxiety, fear, and worry.
5. I know the pain of grief caused by the loss of loved ones.
I loved my career in marketing with exciting entrepreneurial start-ups. Companies like The AIR MILES Reward Program, RewardStream, and LPi Advertising Agency provided the opportunity to work with large brands like Coca-Cola (US), McDonald’s, Safeway, Goodyear, NorthWest Airlines, Invisalign, and Telus Mobility. Long days and continued stress kept building until my body sent a firm message to stop.
Dealing with my cancer diagnosis, I understood my career couldn’t continue as it was. I knew I wanted to change, but I had no tools to deal with the overwhelm and the toxic beliefs that kept me locked into patterns of overwhelm and bad choices.
My body had let me down with cancer, but when I lost my twin sons to a pre-term birth, my trust was completely shattered. Every day grief and fear hung over me. But one place I found ease was in yoga and meditation. My mind slowed, my breath came easier, and my body relaxed. It was in those very moments, I realized maybe all could be okay, even when it wasn’t.
I had a stressful career, cancer diagnosis, fertility challenges and no idea how to help myself manage the anxiety, worry, and fear.

Living through these times caused a deep, ongoing fear of what life would bring next. After so much loss – my health, my beloved twin boys, family members – I was certain more heartbreak was moments away. My life would go well, yet beneath it was consistent anxiety and worry churning in my mind.
When I started learning about mindfulness and practicing it regularly, it brought a new way of being for me that I didn’t think was possible for me. It fundamentally changed how I lived my life.
Once I realized the impact it could have, I knew I wanted to become a teacher and share it with others. I found two of the best teachers Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach and learned the foundations of Insight Meditation (Vipassana).
Becoming a certified Mindfulness Meditation Teacher was part of the answer, but I also realized the skills of coaching would help students and clients take forward steps into action. I continued my education and became a Certified Clear Change Coach. The Mindfulness for Life methodology was developed to help individuals navigate their challenges with their own clarity and resilience.
I taught myself how to trust and live life fully – even with all the uncertainty.

Mindfulness isn’t a place of escape, a mind without thoughts, or believing we have to accept all that comes our way. Striving for these states creates more angst and pulls us from the reality of life that is here now needing our presence, compassion, and attention,
Mindfulness is a way of being to stay connected to all life brings – easy or hard, joy or sorrow, celebrations or goodbyes. When I learned how to find myself and stay for all those moments, I was able to move through life with a calm clarity and acceptance I had never experienced.
I can help you do the same. Your reason for exploring mindfulness is as unique as you are. Understanding your “why” is crucial; it becomes the foundation that guides you in making lasting change. Through Mindfulness for Life, we will work together to uncover that motivation, enabling you to navigate life’s challenges and celebrate those times of peace and clarity you’ve been seeking.

When I’m not speaking, teaching or coaching, you’ll find me:
CHEERING for my daughter.
LIFTING something heavy to stay strong & healthy.

CONNECTING with friends and family.
Discover what is possible for you.
Mindfulness for Life.
